Good bye to our founder. You will be missed Larry!

After a long decline, our founder, Larry Mucci, passed away on January 19, 2025. Our hearts, and our hands have been full! There were so many memories as we sifted through the documentation and growth of the nursery, which sprung from Larry's love of the land we are on and the plants that were native to the area.

Mountain Mist was a "retirement gig" for Larry, as it is for us! We kept it going when he was too sick to give the website attention. Susan wanted to get out of the rat race, and we wanted to make sure there were healthy outdoor chores that Larry could keep busy at. This spring, we are stepping back from active marketing designed to generate business, but we won't disappear. The spring shipping season runs until the end of April and picks up again after September.

Larry, your insights and practical knowledge will be missed. You have left us a precious legacy!
